About Me and the Title

About the Title:

“Taking her by the hand he said to her, ‘Talitha cum,’ which means, ‘Little girl, i say to you, arise.’ And immediately the girl got up and began walking.” (Mark 5:41-42)

“‘Talitha cum’–’Get up,’ he says, all of you–all of you!–and the power that is in him is the power to give life not just to the dead like the child, but to those that are only partly alive, which is to say people like you and me who much of the time live with our lives closed to the wild beauty and miracle of things, including the wild beauty and miracle of every day we live and even of ourselves.” (Frederick Buechner)

One of the most gratifying experiences about blogging––in fact, one of the main reasons why I even bother to do it––is to interact with other like-minded individuals.

As anything inspires, I would love to hear from you regarding travel, photography, or anything else on this site. Feel free to comment directly on anything on the blog, or, if you prefer to keep your comments private (or contact me regarding something) else, you can do so in the box below.

Thanks again for visiting! I hope you’ll come again soon.

  1. “…it is in your story that mine finds life…” thus the reason i am so excited to follow your beautiful blog.

  2. Beautifullllllllllly done…esp asado pictures and comments………reminds me of the way you and annie used to color….around the picnic table in the basement of the old Orland house….did you remember ever “skating” around the basement with JB and the powdered milk?
