In terms of concerts, I can’t imagine much better than watching Over the Rhine (my favorite of all time) perform in Chinatown in a restored Jewish synagogue that once also doubled at a church.

Check out The Synagogue at 6th & I NW.

  1. Love the (stained glass?) window. Concerts in churches are the sweetest – visually and acoustically. My favorite venue in Nashville is about a block from where I now work downtown: the Ryman Auditorium, originally a church, and the sound is fabulous as it booms around the wooden pews and big celing. This is where we should go for a show when you/y’all come visit Nashvegas ;-). That’s right – I’m pulling you south as hard as you’re pulling north(/east).
